What to do?
Visit a beach:
Luquillo beach: This beach is located 30 miles east of San Juan. With its white sand, clear waters and calm sea, its a very family friendly beach. This half mooned shape bay is protced be a coral reef, making the waters not only safe, but beautiful. Changing rooms and showers are also located on sight for your convinience.
Pine Grove beach: This beach is situated between the Ritz-carlton and the mariot courtyard. This beach, like Luquillo beach, is also protected by a reef, giving it nice calm waters. Waves are loctated more to the east side off the beach and are perfect for surfing, body surfing, and boogie boarding. the waves are good sized and never get to large making it kid friendly.
El Convento beach: This beach is located on the main island and is excellent for snorkeling. The reefs and marine life make it great for snorkeling and spending time under water.
Visit the rainforest:
El Yunque: This rainforest is located in the luquillo mountains in the northeast corner of Puerto Rico. The rainforest gets over 200 inches of rain in some areas in one year. At some points, do to the rain, the fog gets so thick you can barley see five feet in front of you. Also the forest has hundreds of species of trees and plants, and a few animals. There is alot to do including hiking, ziplining, swimming, camping, or just enjoying the scenary.
